My first full day wedding! What a day. There was laughter, there was tears and even a chase sequence in a golf cart where I almost died! But it went incredibly well and I’m so proud of the pictures which you can see some of in the gallery under weddings. Even prouder when I delivered the images to the happy couple. Their full review is below!
“I’ve known Kalam for nearly 10 years now and I am very aware of his creativity so I jumped at the chance to have him as my wedding photographer. Despite being friends with Kalam, I was impressed by how professional he was on the big day and on the lead up to it! He was completely on the ball with all the meetings to discuss our preferences which certainly made planning a wedding less stressful for me.
On the day of our wedding, Kalam arrived on time and got stuck right in with getting the photos that we wanted. Whilst myself and my bridesmaids were getting ready, Kalam made us feel very comfortable and we had a good laugh which definitely helped to ease the nerves.
After the ceremony, Kalam was very organised and had the list of all of the photos we wanted with him. He was super confident with getting our friends and family to ‘pose’ to ensure the pictures looked good. I put Kalam on a table of family members for the wedding breakfast and I had feedback to say how much they liked him (which I knew would be the case as he is super easy to get along with).
After dinner, we went to get some shots of just myself and my new husband and we both felt so relaxed but we also had good fun. When Kalam left, my husband said to me how happy he was that I had chosen Kalam as our wedding photographer which says it all really. He hadn’t even seen the photos that had been taken but he was very pleased with Kalam’s organisation and friendly demeanour.
We received our photos back last weekend and we are both so happy, they capture our day so well and it was emotional looking through them as we felt like we were reliving the day. All in all, I cannot recommend Kalam enough. I will certainly be using him as a photographer again in the future!”
